1 package of thick-cut gourmet bacon
1 cup all purpose flour
½ cup finely crushed Old Dutch Arriba Nachos
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk

Lay bacon strips on a foil lined baking sheet and place in oven at 375 for about 15 minutes. Transfer to paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
Heat 2-3 inches worth of oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, mix together flour, Arriba Nacho chips, baking powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly so the baking powder is evenly distributed. Slowly add in milk. Stir until combined. Optionally, add more milk for a thinner batter.
Cut the bacon strips in half and coat each piece in batter. Carefully drop into oil. Cook for about 2-4 minutes, turning over half way through. Place cooked pieces onto a cooling rack and enjoy!
