Old Dutch Foods Ltd. for a second year in a row has been awarded with the LIVERight™ Award for ‘Best Snack’.

“The Canadian Liver Foundation’s 2009 LIVERight^TM Awards recognizes packaged and prepared convenience food products that are both delicious and nutritious. The LIVERight^TM Awards connect two themes – nutrition and liver health - to raise awareness of fatty liver disease resulting from poor nutrition and sedentary lifestyles, which is now the most common type of liver disease in people living in North America. The LIVERight^TM Awards initiative draws public attention to this important health issue and creates an opportunity for companies to be recognized for their effort to be part of the solution.”

In 2008 our Old Dutch® Original Baked Potato Crisps won the LIVERight^TM Award for ‘Best Snack’ and for 2009 our Old Dutch Restaurante^TM Lightly Salted Tortilla Chips won again in the Snack Category. Old Dutch is extremely proud that we are recognized for the offerings that support a healthy solution to those seeking a nutritious lifestyle.
