CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS

By entering this Contest, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules. The decisions of the independent contest organization with respect to all aspects of the Contest are final. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Cineplex Entertainment LP (“Cineplex®”) .  You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor and not to Cineplex. The information you provide will only be used to administer the Contest in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy. Cineplex® is completely released of all liability by each entrant in this Contest.  Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to the Sponsor and not to Cineplex®.

1. SPONSOR & CONTEST PERIOD: The Old Dutch Lights, Camera, Snacktion Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Old Dutch Foods Ltd (the "Sponsor"). The Contest commences at 10:00:00 AM (ET) July 4, 2022 and will end at 11:59:59 PM (ET) on September 24, 2022 (the "Contest Period"). All times are Eastern times.
2. ELIGIBILITY: To enter the Contest and be eligible to win, a person (“Entrant”) must be a legal resident of Canada who at the time of entry has reached the age of majority in the province/territory in which they reside. Notwithstanding the foregoing, this Contest is not open to employees of the Sponsor, Cineplex®, affiliated companies, representatives or agents, their respective advertising or promotional agencies, the independent contest organization, or a member of any such employee’s immediate family (regardless of where they live) or persons with whom any of the above are domiciled (whether related to the employee or not).  In these Official Contest Rules & Regulations (the “Official Rules”), “immediate family” means parents, siblings, children and/or legal or common-law spouse.
3. HOW TO ENTER: No Purchase is Necessary. To enter the Contest, visit www.snacktioncontest.com (the “Contest Website”) and complete the entry form with your full name, your province or territory of residence, your postal code, a valid email address and daytime telephone number (including area code); check the box to confirm compliance with these Official Rules; and indicate whether you would like to receive information about future promotions and new products from the Sponsor (optional). If deemed eligible based on the eligibility requirements set out in rule 1, you will receive one (1) contest entry (the “Entry”) into the applicable weekly prize period (see rule 5) and one (1) Entry into the applicable daily prize period (see rule 6). Please note each weekly prize draw is associated with a specific region and you will only be entered into the weekly prize draw if you have entered during the weekly prize period that is associated with your province or territory of residence (see rule 5). You may however receive one (1) Entry into the Daily Prize draw regardless of your province or territory of residence.
4. ENTRIES: Limit of one (1) Entry per person per daily prize period (see rule 6) and a total maximum of up to eighty-three (83) Entries throughout the Contest Period. You may only use one (1) email address to enter the Contest and the name entered on the entry form (see rule 3) must be the same name associated with the email address account (see rule 3).  Any person who is found to have entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these Official Rules and/or who has submitted more than the number of Entries permitted by these Official Rules will be disqualified. Proof of transmission (screenshots or captures, etc.) does not constitute proof of delivery. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. The Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, falsified, misdirected, garbled or incomplete Entries, which will be void. Proof of posting an Entry is not proof of receipt by the Sponsor. Entries must be received during an applicable weekly prize period for their applicable region (see rule 5) in order to be entered into the applicable weekly prize period draw (see rule 8) and all Entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM ET on September 24, 2022 (the “Contest Close Date”).
5. WEEKLY PRIZE PERIODS: The Contest will consist of twelve (12) weekly prize periods (each a “Weekly Prize Period”) - each Weekly Prize Period consisting of one (1) weekly prize (the “Weekly Prize”). Each Weekly Prize Period will be associated with one (1) of four (4) regions (i) British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut (the “West Region”); (ii) Ontario (the “Ontario Region”); (iii) Quebec (the “Quebec Region”); and (iv) Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador (the Atlantic Region”). Only Entries received during a Weekly Prize Period from Entrants residing in the applicable Region (a “Valid Entry”) will be entered into the Weekly Prize Period draw (see rule 8). The 1st Weekly Prize Period will start at 10:00 AM (ET) on July 4, 2022 and end at 11:59 PM (ET) on July 10, 2022, and each Weekly Prize Period that follows will begin at 12:00 AM (ET) and end at 11:59 PM (ET) as follows:

   Entries will NOT be carried over into subsequent Weekly Prize Period draws.

6. DAILY PRIZE PERIODS: The Contest Period will be divided into eighty-three (83) daily prize periods (each a “Daily Prize Period” or collectively the “Daily Prize Periods”). The 1st Daily Prize period commences at 10:00:00 AM ET and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on July 4, 2022, and each Daily Prize Period that follows begins at 12:00:00 AM ET and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET the same day for the duration of the Contest Period.  
7. PRIZES: There are a total of four-hundred and ninety-eight (498) daily prizes (the “Daily Prizes”) and twelve (12) weekly prizes (the “Weekly Prizes”) available to be won throughout the Contest Period which are as follows:
   1. DAILY PRIZES: There will be four-hundred and ninety-eight (498) Daily Prizes available to be won with six (6) Daily Prizes awarded per Daily Prize Period (see rule 6). Each Daily Prize consists of two (2) Cineplex® General Admission voucher codes (each a “Voucher Code”), each Voucher Code valid for one (1) free General Admission movie ticket at any Cineplex® theatre in Canada.  The approximate retail value of a Daily Prize is $27.00 (CAD). Limit of one (1) Daily Prize per person. The unique Voucher Code is VALID ONLINE ONLY at www.Cineplex.com or through the Cineplex® mobile app for one (1) Free General Admission ticket, and must be redeemed for a showtime that starts no later than 11:59pm ET on March 31, 2023. Free General Admission offer applicable towards the purchase of a General Admission ticket. VALID FOR SHOWTIMES Sunday through Thursday (inclusive) only. Not valid for Midnight Showings. An applicable surcharge per paid and/or free tickets will apply for IMAX®, UltraAVX®, UltraAVX®3D, ScreenX, VIP (19+) admission, Digital 3D presentations or 4DX or DBox seating. Cannot be combined with any other promotion, coupon, voucher, or special discount offer or redeemed for non-feature film screenings and Cineplex® Events presentations. Free General Admission tickets are not eligible to earn Scene+® points. TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Offers cannot be redeemable for cash and are not valid for resale. NO TIME EXTENSIONS ARE ALLOWED. CONFIRM YOUR ORDER BEFORE PURCHASE. ONLINE TRANSACTIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS MAY APPLY. NO SUBSTITUTIONS.
   2. WEEKLY PRIZES: There are twelve (12) Weekly Prizes available to be won during the Contest Period with one (1) Weekly Prize awarded per Weekly Prize Period (see rule 5)). The Weekly Prizes will be distributed amongst the Regions as follows: (i) four (4) Weekly Prizes available to be won by the Ontario Region (ii) four (4) Weekly Prizes available to be won by the Quebec Region (iii) two (2) Weekly Prizes available to be won by the Atlantic Region, and (iv) two (2) Weekly Prizes available to be won by the West Region (see rule 5). Each Weekly Prize consists of “free movies for a year” in the form of one (1) Cineplex® Premiere Card (the “Premiere Card”), valid for one (1) free movie per day that is redeemable for one (1) year from date of issue, for admission to movies at Cineplex® theatres in Canada. The Premiere Card will be personalized with the winner’s name (as it appears on the winner’s Release Form (see rule 11)).  The approximate retail value of each Weekly Prize is $1,404.00 (CAD).  Photo identification must be presented with the Premiere Card at the box office to obtain admission tickets. This Premiere card cannot be used at theatres managed by Cineplex® on behalf of a third-party exhibitor, including but not limited to Alliance Cinemas. This Premiere Card may not be used by anyone other than the named cardholder. The named cardholder must attend at the theatre to obtain and use the admission tickets. Improper use of the Premiere Card (including selling the admission tickets) may result in the card’s cancellation at Cineplex®’s sole discretion. Maximum of one (1) admission ticket each day. Accepted for same-day performances only. A winner can also use the Premiere Card for admission to select 2D or 3D presentations in IMAX®, UltraAVX®, ScreenX, VIP (age restricted), D-BOX, 4DX or reserved seating. However, these presentations require the payment of an applicable surcharge (based on location and presentation) that can range between two dollars ($2) and twelve dollars ($12) per admission ticket. This Premiere Card cannot be used at drive-in theatres owned or operated by Cineplex® or for Event Cinema or non-feature film presentations, including but not limited to, opera, theatre, concerts and sporting or eSports events. Resale of the Premiere Card is prohibited. 

   Entry requirements into Cineplex® locations are subject to fluctuations and dependent on the evolution of COVID-19 as determined by the federal, provincial, municipal or local government requirements in addition to those that may be required by Cineplex®. Each winner hereby agrees that the Sponsor and Cineplex® shall not have any responsibility or liability towards winner if they are denied entry to the Cineplex® location as a result of COVID-19 or changes in the current situation or if they are denied entry due to failure to comply with the aforementioned requirements. The Sponsor is not responsible if a movie is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason.
   The Daily Prize and Weekly Prizes will be collectively referred to as the “Prizes” or “Prize”.  Prizes must be accepted as awarded, without substitution and are not transferable and have no cash surrender value. The Sponsor reserves the right, in the event that a Prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute another prize or component of a prize of equal or greater value, without liability, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux in Québec (the “Régie”), where necessary.

8. WEEKLY PRIZE DRAWS: A random draw will be held at approximately 10:00 AM (ET) in Oakville ON, on each Tuesday following the end of the relevant Weekly Prize Period (as defined in rule 5) from among all eligible Entries received for the applicable Region during each Weekly Prize Period to determine the one (1) Weekly Prize selected entrant.  The odds of winning a Weekly Prize depend on the total number of eligible Entries received from the applicable Region during the applicable Weekly Prize Period. PLEASE NOTE: Entries will NOT be rolled over into the following Weekly Prize Periods.
9. DAILY PRIZE DRAWS: A total of eighty-three (83) random Daily Prize draws (each a “Daily Prize Draw”) will be held in Oakville, ON at 11:00 AM ET on the Daily Prize Draw dates listed below (each a “Daily Prize Draw Date”). One (1) random Draw will be held to determine the six (6) Daily Prize selected entrants for each Daily Prize Period on the Daily Prize Draw Dates listed below from among all eligible Entries received during each applicable Daily Prize Period. The odds of winning a Daily Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Daily Prize Period. PLEASE NOTE: Entries will NOT be rolled over into the following Daily Prize Periods.

10. Each selected entrant will be contacted by telephone and/or email within 3 days of the applicable Daily Prize Draw Date or Weekly Prize Draw Date.  If a selected entrant (a) cannot be reached by telephone and/or email within three (3) days of the first notification; (b) fails to correctly answer the skill testing question (see rule 11); or (c) fails to return the properly executed Release Form within the specified time (as applicable) (see rule 11), then they will be disqualified and another entrant will be randomly selected until such time as all Prize winners are confirmed or there are no more eligible Entries, whichever comes first.  The Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a selected entrant.
11. To be declared a Prize winner, each selected entrant must answer correctly, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question. Each selected Entrant must also complete and return a Declaration and Release Form (the “Release Form”). By completing and returning the Release Form, and accepting the Prize, the Prize winner confirms compliance with the Official Rules, acknowledges that the Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be substituted or transferred, releases the Sponsor, Cineplex®, and their respective affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent contest organization, and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees and agents from and against all liability in connection with the Contest and/or the awarding and use of the Prize, and consents to the use of their name, address (city and province/territory), and/or photographs, without further remuneration, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor with respect to the Contest. The Release Form must be returned within the time period specified on the Release Form or the Prize will be forfeited. The Weekly Prize will be shipped to Winners by Cineplex® within eight (8) to ten (10) weeks of the Contest Period end date and when the Sponsor has received all fully completed Release Forms from the Weekly Prize winners. The Daily Prizes will be e-mailed to the email address associated with the Daily Prize winner’s Entry within 72 hours of being declared a Daily Prize winner.  
12. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: By entering the Contest, Entrants (i) acknowledge they have read and understand the Official Rules and are compliant with them including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and by the decisions of the independent contest organization, made in its sole discretion, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. Entrants who have not complied with these Official Rules are subject to disqualification.
13. If a dispute arises regarding who submitted an Entry, the Entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account used at the time of Entry. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned the email address by an internet provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institute, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. The use of an invalid email address will disqualify the entry. A selected Entrant may be required to provide proof that they are the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected Entry.
14. GENERAL: The Sponsor, Cineplex®,  and the independent contest organization do not assume any responsibility and are not responsible for (i) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information and entries that fail to comply with the Official Rules; (ii) any loss, damage, or claims caused by the awarded Prize or the Contest itself; or (iii) any failure of the Contest Website during the Contest Period, including any problems, human or technical, printing errors, lost, delayed, garbled data or transmissions, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or failures of any telephone or computer lines, or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an Entrant’s or any other person's computer related to or resulting from downloading any material connected to the Contest, all of which may affect a person’s ability to participate in the Contest. Entry material/data that has been tampered with or altered is void.
15. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of the Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrants and the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with (i) the laws of the Province of Québec and the laws of Canada applicable therein in respect of residents of the Province of Québec, and (ii) the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein in respect of residents of the other Canadian provinces/territories, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any attempt by a participant or any other individual to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest could be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. This Contest is subject to all federal, provincial, territorial and municipal laws.
16. The Sponsor reserves the right, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, to withdraw, terminate, amend or suspend this Contest or to amend the Official Rules (including, without limitation, modification to any of the dates and/or timeframe stipulations in these Official Rules, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying compliance by any Entrant of any Contest-related information), at any time and in any way, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever. Without limiting the foregoing, if for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, for example as a result of tampering or infection by computer virus, the Sponsor reserves the right, with the consent of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, to terminate the Contest and conduct a random draw from all previously received eligible entries.
17. FOR QUEBEC RESIDENTS: Any litigation respecting the conduct and awarding of the Prize in this Contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of the Weekly Prize may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
18. CONSENT TO USE PERSONAL INFORMATION: The Sponsor respects your right to privacy.
