Classification and pay rate:

                                       Manufacturing Technician – Sanitation/Production

Number of positions and Location:     TBD, Full Time Calgary

Work Schedule: Saturday – Sunday      5:00am – 5:00pm

                           Production 2 x 8hr shifts, days and shift to be determined

 

Responsibilities and Expectations (but not limited to):

• Perform labor critical tasks as per standards includes:
  • Clean and sanitize processing area ceilings, walls and equipment as per standards.
  • Set up the production lines as per standards.
  • Leverage formal processes to maintain equipment in good operating condition.
  • Do any job as may be required
  • Comply with the followings:
    • Standard operating Procedures and Policies (SOPP)
    • Safety Rules & Regulations
    • Food Safety Rules & Regulations (AIB, SQF etc)
    • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
    • Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS)

Requirements:

• Good communication and organizational skills
• Solid decision-making skills
• Satisfy physical demand analysis for the job (walking on slippery floors, climb ladders, use of chemicals, use of man lifts…)
• Be comfortable working at heights
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Be a team player and respectful for others
• Good attendance record
• Work with little or no supervision
