Position: Temporary Packaging personnel - 2nd shift, up to 4 months
Shift schedule: 3:00 pm-1:00 am (10-hour shift), up to 4 days a week, with possible overtime
Start date: Middle of July or 1st week of August
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to pack cases at standard line speeds and in accordance to the company’s standard procedures
- Ability to operate basic packaging machine operation after training is completed
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instruction and standard operating procedures
- Ability to record various data efficiently and accurately
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Ability to work within all safety requirements and follow safe work procedures
- Responsible, punctual, and dependable with an excellent attendance record
- Ability to follow health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards of the Company
DUTIES:
WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- Pack cases at standard line speeds and ensures compliance to quality and food safety standards of the company
- Ensure all quality and food safety checks are performed and accurately recorded to ensure quality product is manufactured
- Performs and records corrective action when deviation was noted during work in progress
- Perform various tasks as required and according to production schedule
- Maintain packaging area in a clean and orderly manner
- Follow all GMPs, allergen control, other quality & food safety programs, and Health and Safety program
- Provide relief and/or assistance to other employees or OTHER POSITION AS REQUIRED
- SHIFTS OTHER THAN 2nd SHIFT MAY BE REQUIRED DEPENDING ON NEEDS
